No.1 Synergy House has its own HV supply and substation, enabling the facility to sustain high powered racks required by today’s powerful servers.
Should a power spike or complete loss of mains power occur, Synergy House has N+1 Scania Generators integrated into its main infrastructure to take the full load of the building. Generator back up power has a run time of 24 hours without refueling.
Synergy House is supported by Chloride Power energy efficient UPS systems providing N+1 uninterruptible power to our racks with a 10 minute autonomy providing power protection from spikes and mains failures. Chloride Power UPS systems boast almost unity, and thus are extremely efficient with little power loss during conversion.

No.1 Synergy House is supported by an N+1 Airedale HVAC system providing redundant under floor cooling at a constant ambient temperature of 22 degrees celsius and 50% humidity.
Hot and cold aisles provide maximum efficiency, delivering cold air to the front of the racks from floor mounted grilles.
Modern day servers take in cold air through the front and expel hot air through the back, and this is complemented by the use of mesh doors as opposed to solid glass. This hot air is then returned to the Air Handling Units via the Hot aisle where it is cooled back down to 22 degrees celsius and recirculated under the floor.
Airedale has a market history of providing reliable under floor cooling solutions for data centres and thus were a natural choice for 1 Synergy House.

No.1 Synergy House has an FM-200 fire suppression system and VESDA smoke and heat detection system in place. FM-200 reaches extinguishing levels in 10 seconds or less, and when incorporated with a VESDA smoke detection system, provides the most efficient non-water based data centre fire detection/suppression system available on the market today.
Synergy House has both FM-200 and VESDA above and below the raised floor, thus giving complete data centre coverage and protection.
